About the IEW
The ILO Entrepreneurship Weeks (IEW) are a modular training programme developed by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and its partners to promote entrepreneurial growth and to strengthen the development of enterprise ecosystems worldwide.
The IEW offer participants a flexible and tailor-made learning experience across the spectrum of entrepreneurship-related tools and topics. Combined with innovative side events, study visits and networking gatherings, the IEW connect participants with entrepreneurs, business associations and policy makers to exchange knowledge, generate new ideas and explore opportunities.
What will you learn during the IEW
Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are the engines of our economies. Research shows that the majority of jobs in the world are created by MSMEs and that small firms drive regional economic performance by creating knowledge spillovers, trading new goods and services and stimulating innovation. Promoting entrepreneurship and supporting incumbent firms has therefore become a prominent feature of national development planning.
The IEW will introduce participants to entrepreneurship-related tools and topics that account for the diversity of the entrepreneurship phenomena across contexts. By choosing one out of three options, participants can individualise their learning paths and select the training content most relevant to them.
You can choose to attend 2 or 3 modules, and the topic that interests you the most in each module.
