In a world where risks multiply and intertwine, the organizations that survive are not the largest: they are the most deeply rooted, adaptable, and financially independent. We need organizations capable of rethinking themselves and generating social, economic, and environmental resilience. This is also why Planet Foundations, SocialFare’s acceleration program, is expanding, supporting impact-first organizations—particularly startups, cooperatives, and social enterprises—in a single journey to develop solutions capable of addressing these challenges.

THE CHALLENGES OF THE CALL

Startups, cooperatives, and social enterprises work together on shared paths, offering them the opportunity to connect and work together to strengthen the resilience of social, economic, and environmental systems. Through acceleration, mentorship, and connections with the innovation and impact finance ecosystem, we help build an enabling environment for the growth and financing of social entrepreneurship.

Thematic guidelines

We support innovation that addresses key social challenges, improving the lives of people and communities, and building innovation to address key environmental challenges, thus promoting systemic resilience.

Legal form

We accept applications from both established startups (innovative startups, SIAVS, LLCs), as well as those still in the process of being established and Social Enterprises (LLCs or Cooperatives), the latter with registered offices in Piedmont, Liguria, and the Aosta Valley.

Social impact

We target startups and social enterprises with intentional, additional, and measurable social impact, which stand out for offering a highly innovative product/service or which wish to strengthen, evolve, or scale their model and accelerate through a dedicated hybrid program.

WHAT DO WE OFFER

The program is structured through several phases that include intensive weeks of work in Social Renaissances, dedicated hybrid meetings in 1-to-1 mode, live or asynchronous online modules, BootCamps in the territories and a dedicated Demo Day at the end of the program.

OUR METHOD

The acceleration model addresses three key areas in a hybrid program combining in-person training and online sessions. Each of these areas includes key topics, called Pillars, which, delivered in various formats and with varying levels of complexity, comprise the acceleration program for impact startups, cooperatives, and social enterprises.

Over the years, we've worked on over 174 tailor-made courses, projects, consultancies, and mentorships, leveraging the impact generated by over 900 teams, organizations, and businesses we've supported on their growth journey.

Since 2016, we have launched and implemented 23 acceleration programs, supporting over 148 socially impact startups.

Over 84% of the startups invested in by SocialFare Seed since 2017 have successfully completed a capital raising following our investment, which overall exceeds €51 million.

Thanks to the expertise of our multidisciplinary team and a network of mentors, advisors, and impact investors, we offer a unique program of expert consulting and equity investment for generating impactful entrepreneurship.

SocialFare Seed is a private impact seed investment vehicle established by Impact Investors, that invest in selected and accelerated SocialFare startups.
