SocialFare Seed is the first Italian impact seed vehicle for social impact startups.
INVESTMENT THESIS
Convertible financing
Each year SocialFare Seed invests in about 10 startups, in two acceleration batches per year with 5 startups invested each.
Transfer of Resources
SocialFare Seed invests exclusively in startups accelerated and selected by SocialFare.
Contract
Startups invested by SocialFare Seed begin acceleration program with SocialFare for a 4-month period carried out in hybrid mode on Turin or Milan .
Company Constitution
Amount Invested and Equity Percentage
SocialFare Seed can also dispense follow- on in the most promising startups and has a goal of exit within 10 years of initial investment.

Capacity Building
Although the Italian Venture Capital ecosystem is growing rapidly there is still a strong need for education and capacity building on entrepreneurship (business skills). SocialFare & SocialFare Seed’s unique system supplies both the capital and the capacity building for the tools to create and strengthen new generations of impact entrepreneurs.
Creating an Ecosystem
SocialFare Seed is Italy's first seed vehicle for social impact enterprises and startups.
MEMBERSHIP
SocialFare Seed is a private company etsablished by impact investors FINDE SpA, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione CRC .
SicialFare also is also part of the vehicle, in that it promotes a systemic method to favour the establishment and growth of new social entrepreneurship. It is a unique case in point in the Italian landscape.
