Descrizione del progetto:

Cittadellarte was founded in 1998 as a result of Michelangelo Pistoletto’s manifesto “Progetto Arte” (1994), stating that “it is time for art to take responsibility for putting every human activity in communication with one another.”

The impact assessment process, carried out in collaboration with SocialFare, was initiated as a consequence of Cittadellarte’s vocation and ambitious mission – namely, for Arts to bear the burden of tackling contemporary challenges and generating new forms of civilization.

As a first step towards the creation of social impact measurement and evaluation strategies, SocialFare involved different stakeholders related to Cittadellarte in different workshops, with the intention of highlighting and then measuring the social impact generated by Pistoletto Foundation and its projects.

On May 25th 2018, during the 20th edition of ARTE AL CENTRO (“ART AT THE CENTER”), Pistoletto Foundation inaugurated in Biella COSTELLAZIONI DEMOPRATICHE – The social impact of Cittadellarte, an exhibition that re-examines and brings evidences of over twenty years of projects realized by Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto.
