Ortja

The societal challenge:

To support agriculture as a key sector, not only for its productive capacity or as a stimulus for enterprise (in particular young people) but also as a tool for food education.

The solution proposed:

Ortja wants to create a virtual community built around agro­food businesses, which gives them the chance to develop their projects thanks to funding from below, from the users of the platform. To encourage funding the platform has a reward­based model that foresees a premium for the financer according to the sum paid to the asker. Rewards will be indicated by the businesses financed according to their activities (the equity­based model is therefore excluded).
