The societal challenge:
Only 10% of the Italian public contracts annually signed are stipulated through calls for tenders: suppliers find it difficult to find information about potential business opportunities offered by the Public Administration, the latter struggles to make the allocation mechanisms transparent and has hard time to identify the best providers .
The solution proposed:
Synapta Srl has developed Contrattipubblici.org: a platform that supports research and business intelligence on Public Administration’s contracts and calls thanks to a semantic search engine and the use of the linked data technology.
