Planet is a new Italian company that aims to become a point of reference for the research, design and experimentation of new smart and sustainable urban systems. A project that tends to aggregate different technologies and services into a functional ecosystem, organizing aspects ranging from urban planning to new technologies. Finally arriving at the service design and evaluation of the social impact of the smart city.
SocialFare, together with Planet, creates the services of inclusion intended for the inhabitants of the first smart urban system, using and working with the tools needed to develop and ensure its social sustainability. In fact, Planet works as a system integrator: an aggregator of technologies and services capable of generating integrated sustainability (Social – Environmental – Economic) for long-term urban sustainability.
The project aims at creating new models of social housing, and offers the first social smart city, designed to provide custom homes, non-intensively distributed, which can lead to sustainable inclusion, integrated into organic urban plans and modeled on an ad hoc basis. Planet is currently carrying out its first prototype Croatá (55 km from Fortaleza, Brazil), building the first 5,000 units for the social smart city that provides to accommodate 25,000 inhabitants on 8,000,000 sqm of land.
